Ming first brought her authentic knowledge of Chinese cuisine to the Quarry Farmers and Ranchers Market in 2011. Soon after her introduction of handcrafted sausages, pickled items and sauces, she started to provide mouthwatering ready-to-eat noodles and buns at the Pearl Farmers Market. In 2012, Ming decided to expand the availability of her dishes outside the market and begin offering catering services to individuals and businesses. As the demand grew for her menu items, she opened up her location in The Yard on McCullough to diners in early 2016. The small space provided patrons the opportunity to enjoy their favorite dishes outside of the weekend market hours. With space being limited, but the demand being high, Ming made the decision to open Ming’s Noodle Bar in a neighboring train car in late 2016.
